Best mail app

This is by far the best email app Ive used. Great customization, simple interface, easy set up. Thanks to Sarah for the quick and accurate response in helping me set the Label view.

Still the best 3rd party mail app for iOS and Mac.

I tried many different mail apps, and I keep coming back to Airmail, which I have on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Sync is no problem. The integrations and actions are very handy, and the performance continues to improve. I do wish it wouldnt take so long to load, and crashes are more frequent than Id expect or want (thus 4 instead of 5 stars). Customer support has been very helpful (thanks, Paul and Sarah!), polite, and persistent in the face of some unusual problems I couldnt solve on my own. I am happy with the amount of customization, and being able to write in Markdown has come in handy. This is an app worth paying for and a company worth supporting.

Doesnt work with Exchange

Works ok with hotmail but doesnt work with Outlook Exchange so the account I get the most email in doesnt work. If Id known that Id have saved my money.

Apple gave the wrong award

Update on 6/16 After apples design reward, I decided to give it another try. I do like its feature set after all. Within two days, I already had several crashes. One of them is after composing a long email, and everything got lost. SAME AS BEFORE. After this long, developers NEVER looked into this crash issue. I just cannot believe how careless they are. Just in case you are wondering how to reproduce these crashes, its easy. Get an iPhone 6/6+, create a long email thread, and it will crash soon. ONE STAR FOR CARELESS DEVELOPERS. Update on 4/13 ---------- After using Spark for weeks, I noticed AirMail got an update. So I decided to give it another chance. First, I have to say the recent release makes this app slightly better -- search is faster, the most recent conversations pop in first (come on! Why originally the oldest emails showed up first?!) Hence one more star. But as to crash, still the same. I have a thread with 70 emails and it crashes every single time. Also, developers, please stop asking me to send you video. I assume you do have crash logs on your server, do you? Finally this release was really badly organized. My app simply couldnt start. I had to delete and redownload. Dont say you are doing maintenance while most likely you messed up your server side. You better catch fast -- once Spark has native gmail label support, Ill drop AirMail in a heartbeat, if it still doesnt improve. Original review -------------- If you have a long thread, it crashes; if you have a bigger attachment, it crashes; if you tap around, it crashes. And these issues have bee there for years! Hello? Any developer here? To AirMail Developers: you are so detached from your users. Just get an iPhone 6/6+, create a thread with a few back and forth replies with attachments, you will see the crash. I see it in daily basis. Also, the search is really really slow, and bad result. Already move to Spark. Way better.

Buggy to say the least

I tried this after using Outlook for a while. Well after a week of trying have gone back to Outlook. Airmail is way too buggy and keeps crashing. Will give it another try once they update this version.

Awesome support

One of the reason this is my favorite mail app is the great support you get. Sarah today answered and helped me with my issue in five minutes from the time I requested help until it was done. Keep the great job team.

Used to be great

Been having problems with this app and my mac not syncing for few weeks now. So disappointed! I paid money for the app for mac and also for my iPhone, never have any problem syncing before, but now its practically useless. Now it wont sync correctly on my mac computer and all the labels are gone, so disappointed!

Keeps crashing

Very often the application crashes while I am reading a email. I am enjoying the macOS app but this one needs tonne more stable.

Nice App

I went away from Airmail a while ago but couldnt quite find the things I was looking for in Spark, Outlook or the plain old Gmail app. I love the google drive and asana integration and the ability to use Siri to send emails!!

Love it!!!

I just downloaded this app yesterday and absolutely LOVE it! I appreciate the iMessage app the most. Also, when I was unable to solve a problem, Steven from online support was awesome! Worth the money??

Was great, been buggy since 1.6

I used this as my primary email application for over a year now, until this 1.6 release came out. Since then the application has been completely unreliable and buggy. It stops retrieving email, doesnt sync with servers correctly, and refuses to load remote images, and now crashes often. I have to force kill it several times a day to get it to start polling again. Very disappointed. Im about to go back to Apple Mail or try out Spark again.

Best email client across all of my Apple devices!

I love how much AirMail lets you customize the application to yours needs and lets you synchronize settings among all of my Apple devices. I currently use it on my iPhone, iPad and iMac!

No Issues

I use 3 email accounts so far had no issues with Air mail! I love the customizations options and that there are many options!

Solid Customer Service

Airmail has been runing steady for me for quite a while and all of the sudden I had a crashing issue. Sarah from Airmail answered my support email within minutes and had me back up and running in a few minutes. Very pleased.

Great Features Constant Crashing

Constantly crashes on IPAD pro 9.7

Back to Apple Mail.

Airmail has to many issues with images. Ive sent Bloop all kinds of Data. Unfortunately they are unable to figure it out.

Unstable and functionally flawed

This app has the potential to be great, with nice interface and many features; however, it will constantly crash on the iPad. Also, it has the following problems: (1) it often does not show items in the sent category when they have been sent; (2) when pulling up the popup screen it often will show only a small region on typing, 1/3 of the available area; (3) large attachments, several MBs, take a long time to send (several minutes); and (4) sometimes a message in not properly scale when long lines of text are present, so the text is very small and almost unreadable. Im willing to update the review when the app is fixed.

Good idea but lots of bugs

I like features but when trying to play a bit with more sophisticated features I receive many crashes. I will give it a try in couple of months again.

Badge app issue

Pretty app but buggy with the badge notifications. For any email received where I muted the sender, the badge count does not update reliably even though I have set the badge app count to be all unread emails. Even though I dont want a push notification for a certain sender, I still want to be able to glance at the badge and see if there are any new emails.
