Airmail - Your Mail With You App Reviews

Ive used multiple email apps before as I have numerous addresses for work, school, personal etc. This one seamlessly allows me access to all of them while keeping them sorted and separated as needed or together for one view. Easily searchable as well. Ive since deleted all my other email apps including the native apple one.

Airmail has to many issues with images.

This app is very quick and responsive and looks great. It is well-designed and includes many powerful features that other apps lack. I really like the task-based approach to email, which allows you to snooze emails, create tasks or send them later. Additionally, it is highly customizable and integrates with some of my favorite apps. Lastly, I can have all of my email accounts in one place. Is it perfect? No, but its by far the best available, not to mention that it offers the same experience on all of your devices. Many thanks to the developers for creating an app that increases productivity and its enjoyable to use.

I love this app, the way its finalized its beautiful, but one thing here I dont understand why wont be able to add my yahoo acc, and iCloud acc. I did add my gmail and outlook no problem but it keep showing me an error message (please check if you need an app-specific password). Please let me know thank you.

Everything Ive wanted this app to do, it can do. And when I think there is something that it cannot do, a post to support garners a fast, knowledgable, and courteous response without fail.

Not good for me, the biggest dimension of the characters is too small for me! Much more better Mail for my eyes!

It is getting better. Sync is becoming much faster and improving over last update. Looking forward to hard work this team does to improve the product when it runs into problems. Congrats on the design award at wwdc!

Since it opens and loads every message on to my phone with out me reading any of it spam messages come in like crazy since I started using this app. I dont use my email with any businesses or give it out to anyone but close friends and family. Has some cool features but I cant deal with the increase in spam on my iCloud account. I regret using it at all.

I downloaded based on the praise from Apple but it appears (as other reviewers have noted) that the most recent updated has rendered the app useless due to bugs. Will try and redownload once the update.

Much better than stock mail app, however I am concerned about privacy. App asks for access to plenty of personal information. I hope developer will add some good 256 local encryption and protect his servers so I can sleep safely.

Now it wont sync correctly on my mac computer and all the labels are gone, so disappointed!

Bonne application mais les notifications ne fonctionnent que si les smart notifications sont off... Pour un email client Pro, jattends mieux. Et le  Award quils ont reçu nest quà moitié mérité.... Good app indeed, but incredible enough, notifications work as planned only if the smart notifications are off!!! From a pro email client, I expect more!!! And the  Award theyve just received isnt totally deserved.... Waiting for a real patch from you guys!

Love the Airmail app! So easy to configure to the way you manage your emails. Love the interface. And their support is incredible. Wrote them a question at 6:00am on a Saturday morning and got a speedy and efficient reply to my question from David in a matter of minutes! Wow. Impressive

In prior review I complained about search. The error was mine. For all those using Gmail make sure your IMAP settings IN Gmail do not sharply limit the folder size. Once I fixed this, search worked great. My bad, not Airmails bad. I have to compare this to the standards. Inbox and Gmail for me. Airmail comes so close in its approach. Very customizable. Sleek. Offline use a nice feature (though really dwindling in significance, given 24/7 connectivity). Assorted issues are subtle compose inconsistencies that pop up (e.g., subtle but sometimes very noticeable formatting differences when comparing to Gmail).

This is the best e mail app available. I have tried most of not all of them. Integration to so many other apps like Evernote and ToDo is so easy. Support is also excellent as they respond quickly. Try it you will not be disappointed, a bargain for sure.

Major issues are subtle bugs (e.g., subtle but sometimes very noticeable formatting differences when comparing to Gmail). Finally the biggest issue is simply the search tool. Online search does not return all hits, easily confirmable with a comparison to search in standard clients like Gmail. If I cant be assured to find emails and resources in my inbox then it is not usable for me. Might try again after update and see how it goes.

Without a "focused" or "smart" inbox this app is woefully behind the times, regardless of how much useless customizing it provides. Also, iPad app crashes on launch. The app has also had a bug for about a year, which has been reported by multiple reviewers - if you open a message in a conversation as a modal view in split screen mode, you cannot close the message. This makes the app pretty unusable on iPad.

I have used Airmail for a long time and have tried serveral other but always found something I did not like and came back to Airmail. It is now my new gold standard. And Sarah in Tech Support is Awesome!!! She helped me figure out how to change the notification sounds so that they are less annoying.
