=== Ver.1.1 === The best Mailbox replacement. It still has bugs here and there, but it pays a great respect to the discontinued app and extends the possibility. I see a bright future in this email client. When major bugs are addressed, it will earn my five stars. Since the announcement of Mailbox pulling the plug, I have been looking for an alternative, like so many users of the simplest yet greatest email client. Temporarily having settled with Outlook, my search continued. But it finally ended by finding Airmail.

I thought I found my favorite email program for my iOS products when I found Spark. And Spark is a great app. But then Airmail updated to its current version and blew everything out of the water. It does everything you could want in an email app. Easy, intuitive, customizable. And..it also has a desktop mac version thats excellent. Im set. Im an Airmail guy. Check it out!

This is the first app that I have found that integrates with my Appigo ToDo and Calendars 5 app, allowing me to send emails directly to my task list or calendar for quick email processing, task creation and time management.

The email app for power users -- hands down. Best features: ability to reply from notifications on the lock screen or in other apps (like you can with iMessages), ability to bring up all possible message actions on a message directly from your inbox and ability to track the opening of a message have me sold in this app. As a bonus, snappier and chews through far less battery life than my previous fave Acompli. Best $5 you can spend in the App Store.

I have just started using Airmail on my iPhone and have been very happy so far. It seems a lot quicker than the standard Mail app and has loads of customisation options. I had a bit of a problem getting the Apple Watch app to work so I contacted 24/7 customer service through the app. The problem was resolved within the hour by the representative (Sarah) - and it was even on a weekend. Will update my review if I have more to add after using Airmail for a while.

Airmail is the most powerful and flexible mail client available for both iOS and Mac OS. It has dedicated support for Gmail, and several other mail systems, and handles the special features of each of those. It’s a better Gmail client than Google’s own app. Tech support is awesome also. I had an issue today that Paul was able to solve through chat very quickly. (I had to reset the message cache)

Lots of great features but it always seams that there is always a flaw that makes the app untrustworthy. Right now the major thing is it seems to chop of part of emails I receive so I get to only see a portion of the message.

I have tried most all of the email apps, and AirMail is leaps and bounds ahead of the others! It does everything I need and want....and more!! Customer service is top notch as well. When I had a question about the app Paul answered it for me almost immediately! Thanks for the great app!

The live customer support built into this app is amazing. I had the answer to my question from a live rep in less the 20 seconds. Not to mention this look of this app and the ease of use. You will not be disappointed its worth every penny you should get it in your MacBook too. Best mail app in my opinion. Thank you for making it!!!! Finally I dont hate checking email anymore. U really change my life. I really hated email...but not anymore.

Apple, take note- this app should be native. It blows every other email app Ive used out of the water. I especially like how it syncs with the desktop version (though I do wish I had seen instructions about how to sync properly-- I accidentally overwrote some of my desktop settings, so be sure to setup desktop sync with iCloud BEFORE adding info to the app). Beautiful, fast, customizable. Whats not to love? Airmail, I love you. ❤️❤️❤️ Update: months later and I still love Airmail. Ive taken the time to go through and customize many settings, and its even better than I thought. I especially love the long-short-or-medium swiping actions! Being able to customize notifications and just about everything else under the sun is incredible. Another plus? Extremely fast "live support" is available through the settings menu. Its implemented beautifully, and Steven was very helpful in letting me figure out where to find a setting. Thanks Steven!

I do like everything about Airmail 2. I got it for iPhone first then bought for MacBook as well. It didnt take much time to master it. I got an error sending with image attachment but customer service representative Brenna had helped to resolve with knowledgeable. I highly recommend this software.

The app overall is great. I prefer it to Spark, but the badge count on the app icon is wrong 100% of time. Im an inbox zero advocate, so the count matters. Im having to disable badge counts until it is fixed. Once it is, its a fiver.

I dont write reviews often. An excellent email client is vital to a business. We have found airmail to be exceptional. It is highly customizable and syncs with the desktop version seamlessly. The support is also top-notch (shout out to Paul, who was very responsive to a question). Give this a shot, its head and shoulders above other email clients out there.

I really like where this app is going. It offer A LOT of customization and flexibility. This is what the built in app should have been. There are several things that are keeping me from using it full time however... 1. New mail isnt always waiting for me when I open the app. I get notified, open the app(even after waiting a while) and nothing is there. After waiting, they finally start to download. 2. Something isnt right with their Outlook.com connection. I get phantom notifications or the badge count of new email is incorrect or I am notified but the badge shows no new email until I open the app and then exit. Gmail seems to work perfectly so this is specific to Outlook.com 3. They need to conform to the system font size or give us options to change the mail list/viewer font size. Its too small for me right now. 4. They need to allow the use of system sounds, not just a list of sounds they provide. Fix these 4 things and I am all in.

I really like AirMail on my phone works great and I love knowing when the person I send email to has read it, I am glad I purchased it. Steven was a big help!

Its one of my favorite programs to use on my computer; however, I am really tired of not having the ability to select (hold down/right click) a link in an email, and save it to my reading list. I do not want to have the program send me to safari every single time I click on something! Can we get an update that fixes this please? I have loved you since Ive known you and havent asked for much!

Ive heard so many good things about this app and so went ahead and paid for it hoping for the best. I havent had any problems whatsoever, everything run smoothly, badge works, is feature-rich and a joy to use.

Ive been a happy Airmail user on OSX for a long time. Now that I have airmail in the dock on my iOS devices I have a seamless handoff including snoozes and app integration. Tech support was responsive when I had an issue syncing accounts from the Mac to the iPad - thank you to Brenna and Mark for squaring that away.

I have been a fan of Outlook email app, until I downloaded Airmail. I love the customizable features and swiping options. However, the app is not seamless between the lock screen and Notification Center. For instance, when I delete an email in the lock screen, it doesnt mean it will be deleted in the app. Also, the badge number update is very inconsistent. I would not recommend anyone to spend their money on this app until all the quirks are worked out.
