Airmail - Your Mail With You App Reviews

Latest update

I want to love this app and every time an update comes out, I am mediately install it to see how it works. Unfortunately, the badge icon does not match how many unread emails there actually are. Currently the bad shows that I have two unread messages, but I actually have 15 in my inbox. I have tried to reinstall it a few times to no avail. Also, The app still crashes when adding an email account initially.

Good app

Good app, and almost 5 stars. Why? Because whenever I try to clear spam mail, the app stays in delete mode. I have close the app or restart it to get it out of delete mode. Again, I would really like to give this app a 5-star rating...

The best there is but room for improvement

After trying Outlook, Gmail, Inbox, Mail, Email, Spark, Polymail, etc. I can safely say that this is the best email client for iOS. Unfortunately the renderings and transitions seem a bit sluggish but overall the visual polish and customizations make things quite liveable. Please continue with performance improvements.

The best email client

I like it very much!

Gave it another try, but still issues

Its been a while since I gave Airmail a try, so I downloaded it and set it up again. Immediately, there was an issue with account sync (even with the version supposedly fixed), and more importantly, there is a problem with linking to Things 3. The link behavior from the desktop is different than the iOS apps (iOS includes text), and the links from either are not clickable in Things 3 on iOS. The primary reason for me to use Airmail is for its integration with Things 3, which apparently is not working.

So they release new version but I never see a difference...

Updated 5/29/17... Font issue STILL NOT FIXED. This has been going on for months now. Plus, they actually said they improved their mail complication on the Apple watch, but guess what? Nothing changed. It STILL DOESNT WORK. I currently have one new email. Sparks mail complication tells me I have 1 new email. Airmails complication tells me nothing. It is just a blank, generic icon. I dont get why this never works. This is yet another example of them saying they have done/fixed things, yet I continue to see ANY real difference. It happens time and time again. Im about done with them.at this point.

My favorite Email for iphone

Ive been using it since the first release. I have also used spark and Outlook at the same time to see which works best for me and airmail always wins. Today I talked to Steven in support and he was quick to help me and resolve my issues. Other email apps support havent been very quick and commonly just say "look for the issue to be resolved in our next update." Airmail works great for me.

No RTL support!!

A $5 app with no Right to left support??? Money wasted. I want it back! Thanks for the refund. When RTL support comes in, I will gladly buy it again!

Brace brace brace

Ive keep the app but have not been using it. Noticed an update today and that it enhanced Apple Watch UI. Tried to use it and crashed every time I tried to open.

Am I missing something here?

Purchased with hard earned money so my part is done. Setup my exchange and that went just fine. Then nothing, it just sits on a blank screen with the circle pie logo for a bit then the app crashes and closes. I am on the latest iOS update. I would take a refund but there is not clear and simple way to make that happen. This is one app I will move on from and find one that works and consider the money stole from my pockets.

Most Powerful Email App

Airmail really shines in three areas. First, the basic email features are easy to use, so the novice can be up and running in a short amount of time. Second, its a powerful application, meaning it can do quite a bit. Those with multiple email accounts will quickly see the benefits. The rules feature is probably my most used, as it allows me to move sent messages from one email account to another. Ive also set rules to hold on to promotional emails for 45 days and then delete them, which helps to unclutter my inbox without losing that recent 20% coupon from Bed Bath and Beyond. Third, Airmail has great customer support, and you can generally get an answer by chat within a few minutes (thanks to David for being so responsive). As a bonus, airmail works the same over multiple devices on multiple operating systems, so that also reduces the learning curve.

Feature Rich, Great support

This mail app has the largest set of customizable features and great customer service (Thanks Sarah). Font handling needs a little work in preview list and when viewing a message (font settings revert) but in confident this will be addressed In a future update. Cant pinch and zoom yet on threaded emails.

Great support

David from the support team was great. Prompt responses and resolved my problem. The app seems to be getting better and better with each update.

No RTL support!!

A $5 app with no Right to left support??? Money wasted. I want it back!

Broke Microsoft email login with last update

Every time I open the app it asks me to re-authenticate my Microsoft email login! Such a pain!

Sarah saved the Day

Sarah from Airmail was the MVP of my month (May). Twenty six days of misery throughout every aspect of my life, then, I needed help with some user errors on my end. She was unbelievably fast with responses and provided more tips and advice than was asked for. She truly went above and beyond. Its the little things in life that make us realize what truly makes the world go round. Thanks for the help. !

Great email app and excellent service

Ive just come to Airmail and it seems to be the best of the third party email apps for both IOS and MacOS. Thats great and Im thrilled with that, but whats even better is the superb service that Ive gotten with some setup questions. Quick, accurate, concerned replies from Sarah in Customer Support not only resolved my issues, but, more importantly, earned my loyalty. Thanks!

The best email client on iOS. Hands down.

I have tried 35 email apps as of 5-27-17 [updated] both free and paid and airmail was the best of the pack by a ridiculous margin. Support was simply godlike. I got a response from 3 different reps within MINUTES of my email (no joke). Even on MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND I got a response on a Saturday night within minutes from Steven. We were able to locate the issue and he sent a note to the developers. This is the best designed, maintained, and most features email app in the App Store. It is the ONLY app that one can add finger swipe-able email sending to onenote- a feature I have been search for the past 4 years for.

The best email app

Its my favorite mail app, much better than original iOS. Available also for macOS with plenty of integrations. I like so much rapid support (thanx @Sarah from Airmail) to resolve any problems.

Was great, been buggy since 1.6

I used this as my primary email application for over a year now, until this 1.6 release came out. Since then the application has been completely unreliable and buggy. It stops retrieving email, doesnt sync with servers correctly, and refuses to load remote images. I have to force kill it several times a day to get it to start polling again. Very disappointed. Im about to go back to Apple Mail or try out Spark again.
