Too many crashes

I bought this app for my iPhone and iPad. Used it for about 3 hours on my iPad while in a meeting but uninstalled due to the number of crashes. I like the program and the way it is designed more than others I have tried but I cannot rely on it as an effective email solution unfortunately. Airmail developers, let me know if you get the app fixed and I will be happy to try it again, especially as I gave you money for it but as it currently works, I cannot use it.

Beware: Draft disappearance act

Spent considerable time drafting a responsive eMail, on my iPad Pro (big one). App inexplicably crashed, hard, with no hint of that draft to be found. I am now looking for a replacement eMail client. This thing is Mickey Mouse donkey dust.

Terrible app

I tried to give it a chance, but I constantly have to delete and reinstall the app whenever I get this stupid push notification error. Avoid this ? app

Airmail coolness!

I had some great support conversation with Steven at Airmaill Pointed me int he right direction for some the issues I was having. I will start off that Airmail is way beyond mail for mac by a long shot. Well worth getting for iOS and Sierra. The are so many features to list here but it has a great ability to cluster same emails and delete them all at once. Star tag emails, VIP people on the spit. The iOS version I can do all that mail had and more. I found out how to blanket delete main emails at once now. Delete the mail right from the banner add rather then enter the app itself. You inbox is so more vibrant with graphical emails from vendors. Love this app! Keep up the great work!

More love than hate...

Okay Ill admit, I have had a love/hate relationship with this APP ever since it first came out. However, due to improvements in many areas and superior Support (yes Paul, Im talking about you), I have to upgrade my rating. Is this APP perfect, not yet. But it is the only e-mail APP Ive come back to, over and over for more than a year. Now that I know I can fall back on support reliably, Im hooked. Keep up the great work!

Enjoy It

Ive enjoyed Airmail, but the load time for emails could be faster. Other apps load faster than Airmail, which is disappointing considering theyre free and Airmail is purchased.

Good app but battery killer

Its a little ridiculous you can set this to fetch when open in background or when you hit get. Something else as this is ALWAYS getting all emails even if app refresh is off. But it has some really nice features

Mishandles Photo Attachments, Buggy, Crashes

Still hoping the devs fix this app. Broken in many places. Attaching an image to a plain text email in Airmail or receiving a plaintext email with an image from someone else does not always trigger a paperclip attachment icon. This app is not handling MIME content correctly per RFC standards which is why it gets 1 star. Ive worked with email products and related standards. Not downloading attachments by default for security reasons should still trigger a paperclip icon. Non-conforming photo attachment handling is evident in the raw source view. Search handling is bad, conversation threads unintuitive with cut-off emails, crashes. Developers do not fix bugs. Poor support.

Cant use my yahoo account

I use my yahoo email but I can never seem to log on it with airmail

Best integrated mail app

Super easy navigation and rich features on iOS

Unstable & Not Exchange Ready

Cant rely on this app. It STILL crashes constantly. The biggest antecedent to crashes is the archive swipe or when I use a custom action that sends the email to Evernote and then archives it. Im using an Exchange email server. CRASHTASTIC!

Too many bugs...

Updated 2/24/17... Dropping this review down a star so nice this thing has AGAIN gotten flakey with regard to notifications. It was working OK prior but now it sometime skips a notification on the lock screen if I have more than one email. Sometimes the notification disappears in a split second and is nowhere to be found yet I did receive a new email. It also sometimes tells me I have more new emails than I really do and is also sometimes slow at downloading the email, even though it notified me. On top of all that, their watch complication doesnt update the count properly. It hasnt worked since the app was released. They need to take a look at Spark to see how a watch complication should work. Seems one step forward and two steps back. They need another bug fixing release ASAP.

Fantastic Support

Ive been enjoying using Airmail on Mac, iPhone, and iPad for a while. After spending a lot of time recently dealing with over 1000 messages on the Mac and vowing to keep it at Inbox 0, I found the iOS devices still had a zillion messages. Steven from their live support was able to give me the fix (Please go to Airmail Settings > [Account] > Reset Message Cache.) and everything was good. That kind of solid support is priceless.

Glitchy

Glitchy and buggy. Looks amazing and has functionality, but fails in stability.

Was always good but...

This version or sometime recently I stopped getting notifications. Dont know what happened.

What a Waste!

Still waiting for an update and a fix.... I was a supporter since day one, and Ive been waiting for updates to fix and add features. After contacting support for a notification issue, I was ultimately told that my case has to be forwarded to the developers. This should be the company slogan. After nearly 6 months of dealing with the issue and countless chat conversations, I was again told that my case has to be forwarded to the developers. It is clear that once the company has your money the support stops.

Crashes

Crashes all the time when opening. Really slow to open. Going back to Apple mail.

Great online chat support

Had a great experience and support. *Steven* resolved my issue within minutes. I am going to give this app another try after not using for awhile

Mac and iPhone user

The MAC version has been okay for now but what was highly disappointing was receiving word via their chat assistant that, once labeled, an email would stay in the inbox. My whole business email workflow revolves around ensuring emails are foldered (which they call labeled) correctly for future reference. A little sad since the UI is gorgeous and the customization some of the best Ive seen. Ill probably be deleting the app off my phone but use the Mac for now until a fix (if ever) is implemented.

Great Mail App...except

This is intended to be a real "muscle" email. It performs absolutely as advertised, with many options, except – if part of your signature is formatted as bold (your address in the signature, for example) it wont print that way when the recipient receives it. It shows up blue (the app incorrectly thinks its a link). I really love the app, but if it doesnt look like it should to the recipient I cant really use it. If they ever fix this, and I have asked several times, Ill probably go back to it. Its more robust than almost anything else out there. Its hard to understand why this item was missed.
