Cannot understand why you took something that worked and broke it. Never had a problem at all with syncing yet you decide to release 2 updates said to improve syncing which has actually broken it. Golden rule of programming if it aint broke dont bloody fix it. You have gone 100 steps backward with a great app and you are NOT testing your changes and updates. Fix this app because right now its become RUBBISH. TEST your changes thoroughly before pushing trashy updates to your paying users. Im seriously disappointed in you.

Another update said to improve / fix syncing WHICH WORKED FINE BEFORE, Still not better by any means. Deleted 15 messages, an hour later opened the app and all the messages re-appear. Why did you take something that worked just fine and break it???? Come on guys. Go back 3 versions and SCRAP your fixes because they are clearly not being tested. Get this right, stop messing with peoples livelihoods.

Nothing but sync issues and mail is super slow to appear in my in box. The notifications are great but the mail takes a longtime to show up. I contacted support but the issue never got resolved. Too many bugs in the latest releases. :(

What happened to this app? It was amazing and now its just impossible to use. Almost 90% of the time I just open the app is an instant crash, not to mention other critical problems like syncing and over slowing everything. This app was amazing, now has come the time to uninstall it.

Edited....I really want to use this app! But too much doesnt work. Incorrect badge counts, icloud sync not working. Not to mention, we have been asking for the ability to take action on individual emails within a conversation. But no action taken. Please help airmail. Please make this app into the app that it can and should be! ------ I recently bought and started trying to use airmail. I am currently using the outlook app which is very solid, but a bit boring. I am still in transition, but finding airmail a very attractive option. The customer support is very quick and helpful. I got Mark as my customer service rep, and he has been great. I will continue to try airmail to prove all functionality and then try and make the transition from outlook if I dont find any bugs or missing functions.

July 14, 2017: Update still does not fix the badge count, matching the unread emails in my inbox. Still issues with the badge count matching your unread emails. Fingers crossed for the next "update". ----- July 10, 2017: Update after 2 months. Still has issues. A couple of messages in my inbox disappeared. Had to sign into the web Gmail and find them. Somehow they had the trash label applied to them even though I had not deleted them. Back to the Apple Mail app until another update releases. ----- Update: I received an email from you, the only one mind you (hoping you were replying to my support email), that said you received an Apple Design Award for this year. While a pretty design is nice, it does no good when your email app does not work. Me, along with other reviewers, are still having issues. You have not put out an update for almost 2 months. Please fix your app so that it actually works. ----- I want to love this app and every time an update comes out, I immediately install it to see how it works. Unfortunately, the badge icon does not match how many unread emails there actually are. Currently the badge shows that I have two unread messages, but I actually have 15 in my inbox. I have tried to reinstall it a few times to no avail. The Apple Watch complications doesnt update when emails are received or read. Outlooks email app updates instantly so I know its not a watch limitation. Also, The app still crashes when adding an email account initially.

This is intended to be a real "muscle" email. It performs absolutely as advertised, with many options, except – so many of them dont work right. My signatures come out a different size than the body of an email. Bold type in a signature comes out blue. There are too many things that just dont look right.

Updates are continuing to prove it. Looking forward to see what the developer has in store for the future!

Why can i only pick one label at a time? SO many clicks to choose all my labels.

EDIT FOR LATEST: gmail filters bug STILL IN VERSION after I was told it would be sent as priority to Devs I sent in a report about an issue with using *@* filters in gmail to never send to spam - every email that gets sent triggers a notification. I sent detailed pics, exported copy of my filters, pictures, EVERYTHING. when the new version came out I saw bug fixes and was so excited aaaaaand nothing. I reemailed support and they had idea what I was talking About. Listen I love the app, support is ridiculously fast, but it all doesnt matter if the bugs are not being followed up on. EDIT: its true that only one email was sent and I unsubscribe but please please please dont send me an email and mess with my productivity/sleep (I am a night shift worker) to tell me u won an Apple reign award.

UPDATE FOR LATEST VERSION: Bad syncing? ~70% crash rate? Broken iCloud sync? Ineffective actions (deleted mail doesnt stay deleted, etc.) Seriously? Get it together guys! You had a good thing going. It was perhaps the best mail client out there. Youre edging towards being the worst - or at least the crashiest. Revert back a few versions if you cant fix this one. ------------------- I’ve been a huge fan of Airmail’s OS X app and have been using it consistently almost ever since it came out. The iOS app is a worthy companion to it - it is pleasant to interact with, has good integrations with several useful services (Slack would be nice to connect with), the iCloud integration is highly convenient, and in general it is well conceived and executed. BUT... ..here’s the one thing that severely diminishes a lot of the awesomeness.. the comically large font size. When reading emails sent from the iOS app on the OS X app, the email looks like a horrendously designed banner ad because of the ludicrous font size, completely dissonant with the rest of the thread or really with anything else. In itself this would be fine, some people do like big fonts. But *you cannot change it*, nor does the app respect the default iOS text size setting (which is literally the least I would expect, and speaking as an engineer myself, the easiest thing to code in). Please fix this ASAP - I will pay another dollar for it if I have to. I love your work, and really want to continue using this app, but this.. is.. just.. too.. bad.

Use this app both on macOS and iOS and I love it. Runs great. Had some issues logging into yahoo mail. Contacted support and got prompt and reliable help from Sarah. Great customer service. ??

i have used/experienced just about every conceivable email app possible. "air mail" is the best, most streamlined, fastest, & most reliable app i have ever had the pleasure of owning. it handles multiple accounts with ease !! what more could you expect..???

Despite what other reviews are saying, Im finding the sync in this version to be much improved over previous versions. I still need to use the apps "Reset Message Cache" feature to occasionally reset the inboxes, but the rate at which I need to do that has dropped significantly since the previous version.

Great email client work lot of customisation options. Still to improve but worth and very useful considering its still there first cut of their public release for iPhone. 7/13/17 - Update: Recent update has broken. Issues reported never get promptly addressed. Support just doesnt acknowledge issues. And when updates are released you end up seeing many broken paths. Appreciate Apple that they chose Airmail for awards than others! Just shows how competent Apple is. Dont think the founders and developers are keen/serious enough to maintain and upgrade this product for there by just releasing patches and breaking already existing features. The mail composer is the most slow! Not at all pleasing UI while composing emails. Sad to see a good potential getting wasted. Hope someone buys off and turns it around.

Phone running much hotter than normal with release of 1.6.5. Update says improved syncing but phone is continuously syncing. Come on guys test before you release updates. Going backward not foreward. Come on guys email is the lifeblood of my business this is nonsense. You fix things but break them, you offer me access to your beta but then you dont reply when I say yes. Stop messing with a mission critical "simple" thing like email and complicating and messing up peoples lives. I have paid good money to you and I expect better than this. Wish I had NOT CLICKED UPDATE !!!!!

The design and features are great, unfortunately, its most important job, that of checking your email, doesnt work. It still shows emails the list that were deleted a long time ago.

Out of the numerous email apps I use, none are as bug filled as Airmail, and it has been this way for years! Their support will consistently reply with reinstall the app or we cant see the issue on our end. Avoid this app for your own sanity.

Keeps switching languages randomly from English to Russian, a fix needed.

Edit 4 Last update brought back old problems badly. Edit 3 Last version improved a bunch of stuff. This version just says "bug fix" lets see how it turns out. Airmail email app is my daily driver now that it works. (Was using stock mail.app) Edit 2 Ill rate 5 stars for now. Lets see if this update squashes bugs. Edit 2.1 -> Smoother sync and emails actually show up in a timely fashion! Edit 1 Ill rate 2 stars for now. The developers still need to fix sync speed, and other small bugs. Email is slow to update. The app needs work, but overall what is here is great. Meanwhile, Ill try one of the other email apps out there which you probably know of. (Spark, outlook, Alto, etc)
